About Us

             Rich Eichman has more than 30 years of experience in connection with the California Political Reform Act.

 

             Since April 1985, he has operated an accounting practice specializing in compliance with the campaign and lobbying provision of the Act.  During this time he has been a member of the Fair Political Practices Commission's Advisory Panel on Lobbying Disclosure and the Secretary of State's Electronic Filing Advisory Panel.  His clients include over 300 political action committees, lobbying firms and associations.

 

             Prior to opening his own practice, Mr. Eichman was on the staff of Nielsen, Hodgson, Parrinello and Mueller, a law firm that specializes in political law.  His responsibilities included preparation of campaign and lobbying disclosure reports for their Sacramento office.

 

             Mr. Eichman also has over four years of experience as an Accounting Specialist for the Fair Political Practices Commission.  In that capacity he gave seminars and provided technical assistance regarding accounting and reporting for campaign committees and lobbyists.

 

             Mr. Eichman first became familiar with the Political Reform Act in 1975 as an auditor with the Franchise Tax Board where he performed audits of campaign committees, lobbyists and lobbyists employers.
